I have had a rear bash bar lying around for some time and decided to get it mounted the other day. It is supposed to mount to the OEM location but I am somewhat confused as to where as the supposed to be location is inaccessible without an angle grinder(?).
The bar in question is equivalent to this https://www.driftshop.com/jack-point-crash-bar-v2-nissan-silvia-s15.html
I have attached some photos from inside the trunk where the sway bar is mounted to, this is seemingly the plate that needs to be either cut open or the holes widened enough to get the provided bolts through. The provided bolts are extremely short so I don't see any other solution. But given the "OEM mounting point" I would assume that it would not require any body massaging.
I feel a little stupid asking this but hey, if you don't know, you don't know
