Seeing as there seems to be allooot more mx's being used for drifting lately are you going to start making any parts for them any time soon?
*fingers crossed!*:)

We have 3 of them here too! :euge:

We do HSD coilovers and Rota wheels but they are quite well rounded cars thats the issue.
What do you need?

We do HSD coilovers...

I have these, they are ace.

MX5s have fully adjustable suspension as standard, so no need for new suspension arms. Apart from the generic wheels/seat/wand stuff there isn't much you have to do to make a very effective drift shed out of an MX5.

Maybe a decent diff, but DW do these too.

I noticed! :D ermm well im thinking of some cool stuff like tie rods ect for angle seeing as stock lock isnt that great.. or modified knuckles? and also thought of possibly one of the best products for the mk1.. as your probably well aware of mazda set up the suspension properly and apparantly lowering ruins the geo and the cornering abilities so wouldnt hubs like you do for the s13 be one of the best products you could buy due to the fact that you could lower the center of gravity, get good stance and still not mess up the geo and still get perfect handling? not to mention i think pretty much everyone who lowers their car would benefit from them not just drifters? there would be a hugeee market for them if you take in to consideration the amount of people on roadsterdrift.net (forum) and mx5nutz.com ect... just something to think about..

The hub idea has a potentially huge market - there are billions of MX5s everywhere and lots of the owners are obssessive types who'd very much like to tell everyone else that they lowered them wrong.

On the other hand your Nissan hubs took years of development to get right.

sure does! i remember seeing somewhere that if you lower it more than about an inch the handling is ruined compared to what it would be at the correct height, so im sure SO many people would want these... and maybe the nissan ones did but surely with the experience they now have from developing them these might be able to be made quicker?

my handling certainly never felt ruined when i slammed my mx5's 100mm, felt like it was easier to drift afterwards with less body roll etc, couldn't possibilly say about grip lap times though cos i dont really care :D.

know what you saying for sure though, there's millions of anal mx5 owners, with the oh no et00 will kill you and 195 on an 8j will make your mum a lesbian type attitudes, so hubs wouold probably be a great seller .

The thing is with these requested mods for the mx5 (hubs, track rods for example), the demand has been around for a while now and some people have started making their own and selling them on a low scale production basis. I know both are produced on roadster drift and some where in japan and the RD bits are nicely priced so it would then be a question for the DW guys to work out if enough people would come here for the parts or just use google some more and get them else where?

Just my 2P

yeh but the hubs which are modified on roadsterdrift are nothing but slightly extra lock which brings you back to the beginning about loweing the car... where as the dw ones would automatically lower the car around 50mm whilst still keeping the right geometry AND giving more lock.., I can see where you are coming from but if dw made these they would be LEAGUES above the cut and re-welded hubs made on roadsterdrift... and do alot more than jusstt give you a bit of extra lock... I still think there could be a huuggee market for these...
