weve got a set of standard 2.0 laser wheels if u want, black centres. they look awesome polished up, wouldnt cost a massive amount

Cool man, haha, a crapi laser! Loving your work with the hub caps!

Fords wash them selves dude!, but they replace the dirt with rust! haha, i know, ive had enough of them, will want another one day! Never had a crapi though, mk1/2 escorts and anglias!
You havnt by any chance seen the 2.8i on scrappy races(scrap heap challenge) on sunday nights have ya? their killing the bastard! lol

BTW, you need to paint the grille and headlamp surrounds black, looks alot better like that!

nooo i used 2 have a mk2 but scraped it because of it disintergrating before we got it off the drive :) now got a mk5 escort which is about 2 be rwd'd :)

looking good mate  where did you take them photo's im trying to figure it out but i cant was it not local :D

thanks MJG its getting there slowly lol

paul were abouts are u?

Im in Basingstoke.. But all parts that have come off ther capri are at the other halfs place in Brighton.... We cant use the standard laser alloys now, as the hubs have been converted to 4x100

i have a grill that looks like this

newgril.jpg

for the front of it making a bumper for it well giving it a go wont post it up as i have been told it looks gay lol paul the wheels going free
(never no less you ask)

i put the hub caps on as they come off the car with the wheels the pasanger sideone fell of at the 1st round about i went round :smash:

the rear tyres seam to were out alot quicker then the front ones for some reason  so i have many difrent wheels on the back over the time of 4 months

ius see it when she crashed it in to the tree lol its rwd love side ways befor the corner and she would have been ok was funny tho

the 2.8 has the lsd diff i need but there £270+

You dont want to put a 2.8 slipper in mate as it will be way too tall geared. The 2.8 diffs are 3.01 and you really need a 3.5 diff. Why not weld it up?

capriargos2.jpg

might give you a clue :wack:

dont want to weld the diff as its my only car and i no wleded diffs dont like gravel tracks i dont have any problem with it at the mo it hardly ever just spins up on one wheel say 1/10 times depends on what the serivce is like im driving on

Welded diff might be the only way to go as you'll never get a Capri to drift with a 2.8 diff, not unless its still in the 2.8(way too tall geared). It would be like trying to pull away in second lol.Why not get a second axle and weld that up, at least then you can try it:thumbs:

Only just saw your reply lol... Dunno if she'd want anything for the wheels.. Ill have to mention it to her... All theyre doing is sitting in her spare room.. Ill let ya know, im sure shed not want much if anything

good idea witht he 2nd axil cant i change the gears in the diff of the 2.8 tho and justr use the lsd???
Not quite as simple as that mate.........The 2.8 diff is a rear loading one and the 2 litre is a front loader (not sure if all of them are though). Much easier to just get a standard 3.5 or 3.77 diff and get it welded up.
The 3.77 would be best for tail out action though!:D
