My Lifted Truck

Not 100% sure about this yet, as I know I'll regret it. But there's something I want to buy that I can't do without selling this.

My lifted VW Taro (Same as Toyota Hilux)

7" spring lift
2" bed lift,
Procomp Gas Shocks
37 / 12.50 / 15R Goodyear tyres with about 30mm of tread left :wack: on 12" x 15" Mickey Thompson wheels which are extremely expensive.
5.29 differentials, built and changed at extreme costs to me recently. These basically bring the ratio's back to normal ratio's after fitting the HUGE tyres.

It's a 2.4 Diesel so it's not going to win any races, but it's actually pretty economical for it's size, and I've done some motorway trips cruising at 60-70mph and it was pretty cool.
It has 2wd for most driving.
4wd high mode
4wd low for crawling over massive stuff
It has lockable diffs, so all four wheels do exactly the same thing for hardcore offroading.
It has a removable dropped tow bar and electrics.
It has a plastic bedliner.

It's reliable, and I regularly commute in it. It's extremely useful. I use it for trips to the dump, taking my pit bike to the track, and just having a laugh in it. It get's as much attention as my lowrider did.

It's ratty looking which is part of the vibe it gives off, but SOLID underneath. It had a load of work done before I bought it, and sailed through it's MOT.

It has a stereo fitted.
It's done about 200k
10months MOT left,
No tax
Insurance costs me £300.

£2200 for a quick sale, and if you want it delivered, I might be able to arrange that.
PM me :)

Oh dear. 3 days before I'm due back to the midlands with a dirty stinking wad of cash, and this turns up for sale

Don't do it phil :smash: I thought the lowrider was awesome, but this.. this really suits you!! Keep it! arrgghh!

Hillbilly look ftw

Looks like my plans for a new level of stupidness may not be possible now. However the truci is still for sale anyway as Mel doesn't particularly love it being parked on the small bit of lawn we have in the back garden :wack:

lol no, but a hardtail chopper is definately on the list of completely stupid shit I must own at one point in my life :D

This looks bad ass!!!

Out of interest how much do tyres cost for something like that? and do you have any more photos?
