A tough decision but I have decided i'm going to have to sell my work in progress MX5 along with the parts I had started getting ready for a supercharged engine build, due to not having the time or funds it deserves since starting a different job.
The Car
The car is a 1.6, 1990 Japanese import Eunos Roadster with 168000Km ( 105000 Miles) on the clock, it has never let me down apart from needing a new clutch which was done last year, and has been regularly serviced whilst I have owned it, it's MOT runs out in December this year.
I will start with the bad points which are, it is cosmetically scruffy, both rear sills need doing at some point, and the front wings will need replacing (if you are bothered about how it looks), the rest of the bodywork could do with a tidy up / paint, but that’s all it needs if you want it looking good. I was building it as a car for weekend fun and occasional track days / drift days so looks were not my main concern. There are probably a few small mechanical jobs that need doing but just bits and pieces nothing major.
I have done a fair bit of work on the car while owning it and the specs are below.
Mechanical / Performance / Handling
- 1990 Eunos Roadster
- 1.6 115bhp engine
- Air filter and heat shield
- 4-2-1 Stainless Manifold

- 4-point bolt in Cusco roll cage
- Harness Bar / Cabin Brace
- Rear Diff Brace
- Front strut brace
- Front/rear TRS tow straps
- Braided front Brake Lines
- New Bosch Battery
Exterior and Interior
- Deep dish steering wheel

- Driver’s seat foamectomy
- Homemade Door cards covered in Camo fabric
- Fli 6.5” Component Speakers
- JBL Amp in boot

And probably some other bits I have forgotten to mention! Please see the pictures below.
