My 200sx
THE CAR HAS FULL SERVICE HISTORY and now another 6 months tax!
It’s a 1997 s14a in Damson
It has done about 106k most of these by the previous owner on the motorways as most 200’s do.
When I bought it just over a year ago it was absolutely mint standard car. I have had 2 of these now, and my friends on this board have also owned around 7 altogether and in comparison, as standard it had a very quiet running engine!
Since I have owned it the diff (purchase new lsd) and engine oil has been changed every 3k miles, and filters etc changed every 6k and only used Silkolene and Mobil 1 oils with genuine Nissan oil filters. New turbo gaskets as well recently checked last week when braided turbo hoses were put on.
Although it has been used for fast road, it has only very occasionally been used for drifting, mainly because I just can’t afford it, and that is the reason I am selling up. With starting college I just need to get rid of some debts and the Nissan has to go, although I know in the long run it will be for the best.
The car is running beautifully at the min, although it’s off the road in the garage as I can only afford to use the diesel
With the spec listed below it pulls effortlessly and never misses a beat, it handles beautifully, very stable and feels light round the twisties, and when tested it ran 13.5 at pod, and that was in the hot, hot, August weather!
I don’t smoke, I wash and polish the inside and out and have taken good care of it as I always have with my cars, and I’m gonna get loadsa stick off our lass for selling, so if anyone has any other negative opinions can ya keep them to yourselves thanks.
The car has:
• Custom black headlights
• Smoked front indicators
• Full carbon d-drug wing
• New Sony head unit
• Handbrake lock off button
• Grip tape
• Timex boost gauge
• M’s induction kit
• No DV
• H&R 25mm spacers all round
• Walbro fuel pump
• Full 3” stainless exhaust from tubby back
• All de-catted
• 17” Advans, with custom Damson centres
• Pirelli P-zero Nero tyres
• Cusco coilovers (height and camber adjustable)
• Kaaz 2 way lsd (approx 9000 miles)
• 315mm Brembo front discs + new Brembo rear discs
• Ferodo DS2500 up front + Blackstuff at rear
• Driftworks subframe locking kit
• Front strut brace
• Rear strut brace
• Apex type 1 FMIC
• Braided turbo hoses, water and oil just fitted.
I also have:
• Washers to add extra steering lock, ready to fit.
The only downsides are one of the rims is curbed round the lip, a couple of car park nics and a couple of scratches as to be expected for its age… . As with most of the Type 1 intercoolers the battery is in the boot and I have wired it all up, the washer bottle has also been modified to fit and works.
I’m not desperate to get rid, so I’m putting it up for £5,050 with tax and mot on it. I think I have included everything although I will update accordingly.
