OK, so at the moment this isn't a drift car as such, it has no drift-specific mods, but it's got all the right ingredients, just needs a few spec changes
Anyway... I'm putting my recently completed SilEighty up for sale; I've decided maybe it's time to 'get sensible' with my money and drive something cheaper to run/insure so I can actually move out of my parents' house!
1992 RS13 Executive in Black (full respray in original colour March 06)
Very clean shell
89000 miles
Mot Dec 06
Tax Sept 06
Rebuilt CA18DET by Norris Designs in 2004, covered approx 20k since, oil/filter changes every 3k with Mobil 1 15W/50 oil.
FNSH up to 76k, at which point I swapped my ND engine in from my old RS13 and started servicing it myself.
SPEC
240bhp @ wheels (292bhp @ fly)
276lb/ft torque
Graph to prove, run was done at Interpro Aug 2005 in 32ºC ambient temp, sure there's more there in colder air!
ENGINE:
CA18DET 1831cc
CA16DE inlet cam
Trust 1.2mm Metal Head Gasket
Garrett GT28R ball bearing turbo
Forge Motorsport adjustable actuator
Mongoose s/s exhaust
Apex'i induction kit

Z32 M.A.F.S.

Varley Red Top Racing battery
Nissen radiator (double std thickness) (new April 06)
Custom ECU map by Horsham Developments

HANDLING:
Kayaba AGX adjustable damping shocks
AVO Chassis Dynamics springs
Whiteline castor adjustable front TC bushes
Whiteline adjustable front & rear anti-roll bars
Nismo steering rack bushes (new April 06)
Stainless steering column bush (new April 06)
Alloy subframe locking collars (new April 06)
BRAKES:
Z32 Brake Master Cylinder
S14 4-pot calipers (reconditioned April 06)
315mm E36 M3 Brembo front discs (new April 06)
Ferrodo DS2500 front pads (new April 06)
EBC Blackstuff rear pads
GAUGES:
Autometer 52mm 'Ultralite' 20psi boost gauge in A-pillar pod
WHEELS/STYLING:
BSA 187s in 17" with recent 215/45 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tyres
H&R wheel spacer kits; 15mm front, 20mm rear
S13 Silvia front
De-spoilered
Kouki rear lights
SECURITY:
Clifford Concept 650 alarm with RCL (of course), full closure (windows go up when you lock it), and a couple of other bells & whistles
NOT SO GOOD STUFF (being exceptionally picky):
Couple of small patches of rust on the front suspension turrets, just starting to come through
FMIC is slightly wonky because it's too tall for the Silvia front, it is secure though.
Air con has been removed (by me), I still have all the parts in the garage should you wish to re-fit it, but you'll have to find somewhere else to put the oil cooler!
I also have the original 200SX headlights which I'll throw in with the car, along with a load of other sensors, alternator etc.
Asking price is £4500. No offers, no p/x or swaps.
I appreciate this is a lot for a 14 year-old car, but it repesents just a fraction of the time and money that's gone into building it, and quite frankly I don't care if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it
IMO the spec is perfect for its intended use, which with me has been my daily driver and occasional track use. It's still quiet and comfortable enough to use every day, isn't very laggy, but still makes very respectable power and handles well enough to make track excursions a lot of fun
