HSD BMW M3 E46 Coilovers
£775.00 inc VAT

Specifications for the HSD BMW M3 E46 Coilover kit:
High quality monotube coilovers. Inverted front dampers for superior strength.
16 stage adjustable damping front and rear.
Pillowball top mounts front and rear. Front's have camber adjustment. We use the correct castor angle in the top mount for the M3 unlike most other brands.
We use spring roller bearings, so no spring noise when steering.
Adjustable preload on the spring perch, so you don't have to adjust ride height by crudely slackening the spring like KW's and Bilsteins etc., you wind the damper body into the bottom mounting bracket.
Supplied with heavy duty front anti roll bar drop links.
On the rear you can set the droop with the adjustable length shocks.
Spring rates are 6kg front and 6.5kg rear, which combined with the extremely high quality damping gives a nice compliant ride for the road, and vastly superior performance on track. Our HSD Demo E46 M3 is both a daily driver, and a regular on track days and the Nurburgring. The HSD coilovers outperforme the KWV3's, Bilsteins and Teins we've had on the car in both enviroments, as that is what we designed them to do.

Hmmmm.... I will keep this in mind next time my springs snap :smash:
Just got me some eibach lowering springs for now.

Hmmmm. Interesting as I am looking at second hands sets of the name brands at the moment. How does the spring rate compare with standard?

Would you save these are better (and stiffer) on track than KW V3's?

I replaced my KWV3's with these HSD's. My M3 is a no compromise personally owned car, not a HSD demo tool. If the HSD's weren't a better package I honestly wouldn't have replaced them :)
I recently used the car around the Nordschliefe and it absolutely rocked. I have no idea where the hell I'm going on the track, and I did an 8:41. The car is 20 times better than my abilities, but the HSD's sure do make me look good :D

Yup we supply these for regular E46s too, improved castor and therefore turn in with the M3 specification topmounts, and the ability to mount the ARB off the strut if required!

thanks ben! Just I might need a set for my new drift car ;) oh just to ask what are the difernce in a m3 and a e46 coupe other than the block? Is the chassis the same?

Thanks

Suspension arms, subframes, hubs, brakes, diff, prop, chassis braces. Lots! The basic shell is the same underneath as far as I'm aware, but all the bolt on parts are different.

When will the e36 m3 ones be ready
Shortly :)
I've had them on my car for a few months now and I'm really happy with the results. We're just finalising the top mount design, then we'll be getting some stock in. Realistically it's gonna be a couple of months I'd say.

Fitments for all E36's will be here at the end of January  I promise it will be worth the wait, they are absolutely superb :smokin:

Sweet. I should be getting another e36 this week. End of Jan might have some money in the bank, probably wont but might.

Yep, we'll be starting designs for an E30 set early next year. They are very complicated because of the need for the front spindle, so please bear with us. Once again we can assure you it'll be worth the wait

Will these still be the same sort of money Phil? If they include top mounts, at least I'll be able to flog my Eibach top mounts on to subsidise the costs :)
