New drifter!!

Just about to buy my first drift car. Iv narrowed it down to a volvo 360 which i think will be adaquate. It was between that and a 2.2 omega so anyone got any tips on set up the reson i chose a volvo over a bmw is puely insurance costs with my age. I heard landrover 90 shocks front and back to lower and lowering blocks am i right? Thanks
 
I hate to sound like a sheep but I'd go BMW 316/318 or MX5 1.6/1.8 over the Volvo and Omega.

Neither have a huge availability of parts and neither will drift as good as the other two options..
 
For me, I'd have an MX5, then the 360 (which are awesome with a few changes), then prob the BMW.
