Yo what's up, I'm Mark 22 been on here for a few years browsing and getting the bug from trawling through pages and pages of build threads!
Full time hgv mechanic, so quite capable of fixing fabricating building wiring most things bought a ropey e36 touring 318 for my first rwd car with the intention of doing skids but one thing led to another never quite got round to it, then swapped some cash and wheels and coilovers for a 1989 volvo 360 glt saloon as a project
Was soon stripped and on stands in the garage to start the messy process of soda blasting it ready for underseal as I want it to stay nice and rust free!
and this is how she sits now need to pull my finger out and get it sorted and source a 2.3turbo from a 940 to swap in and aiming for 250bhp ish
Now I've just managed to px the e36 workhorse for an Lexus IS200 sport with plans to drop in a 1jzgte and set it up for 500horses single turbo, injectors, ecu etc. The plan was to collect bits over the winter and do it in the spring but it would seem the o'l 1g-fe lump has decided it didn't want it's head gasket no more and I can't be arsed to spend money on an engine im gunna get rid of soo........ I'm fast forwarding the 1jz plan to now and busy trying to source engine, box etc and work out my plan of attack with engine mods so I'm sorry if I post duplicate questions etc on here in advance.
So this means with 2 projects on the go I need to buy another car to drive, oh what a shameeee ha so on the look out for a cheap e36 to swap in a 2.8 and have some cheapish skids in the mean time and see how long it is before I run out of talent and end up turning it into a missle car to practice in ha [emoji38]
So sorry for the essay but that's me and my cars and plans etc, I work nights so you'll have to bear with me updating this/replying.
