Hi, based in Scotland, 1st time on a forum, been drifting an omega but bought an s12 as designated drift toy, any advice and parts info would be appreciated. Not much around for it, could do with 2 wings door locks and suspension?

Cheers, I'll need to give it a try.

Was reading some former posts about s12s on here and folk are comparing them to Volvo 340s saying the Volvo was a much better drifter. Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember people running about in them as daily drivers and wonder how it can be compared to a 1800 turbo that's easily tunable.

^^
I have a 12 pal and I fly the s12 flag.

Stav didn't like his s12 that much. Forget looking for s12 specific mods because unless you fabricate them yourself they don't exist, front end suspension can be converted to s13 (nice upgrade) wheels are 4x114 like the pre face lift 13's so lots of wheels out there. I have a build thread on mine might give you some ideas.....

Cool mate, I've already had a good look through your threads. Some good info in there. I read Someone saying that e30 rear suspension can be adapted to fit. Do you know anything about that? Have you drifted yours much?

Only one track day up at rockingham the car is plenty capable better than my skills anyway. Never heard that about e30's I know the 13 rear end can be adapted to fit however I will be having new turrets made and fitting 13 rear coilovers

I didnt mean any disrespect to the volvo guys was just looking for some people with experience with the s12. I've heard you can change the turrets but think thats beyond my capabilities. I'm looking for a lowering spring kit that if not a direct fit can be easily adapted to the standard s12 set up.

Sell it to me ;) I'll do the old resistor trick n boost the fuel pressure n away I go !! Also ur lack of updates on this is shocking , get on it ha ha

Oh yeah I joined this carry on in expectation of gettin a big green Eco drift machine ;)

when someone makes a reply to a thread it brings it up to the top of that forum. people reply 'bump' in there own thread to bring it to the top if they havent had any replies and the thread has gone stale.
stands for 'Bring Up My Post'
dont worry, not all the cars have been in minor collisions since their post...
