hi, my name is matt and i had not even heard of drifting until last year. i had been out with my friend for a night in his mazda mx5 mk1. i asked him if i could drive and we went to the local tescos car park, the car being low enough to go under the barrier at midnight, we made it in.
holy shit. i found a huge thrill in going up to a corner and slamming the throttle as i went into the corner which i later found out was called drifting. so i did some practice in my friends car every sunday until about 4 months ago when he had his car stolen. since then he has bought a mitsubishi fto , which does not drift since it is fwd. i am hoping to buy a drift car in the uk for bout £500 un modified (me and my dad work on cars together as a hobby) and i have been looking into the good ol miata however i wondered if any of you could suggest any other good, jdm drift cars? i LOVE the nissan 240sx but have no idea where to buy one as they seem non existent on the uk market and are very popular in american drift build videos on youtube. any replies would be appreciated, much love,

this has been asked to death please do a search. Ill save you the time though. bmw e36, mx5, ford sierra or a volvo. They are about the only rwd cars anywhere near that price range. Get an mx5.
