Well I thought I'd join up as I thought I'd give drifting a go( probably a big expensive mistake) so a bit about me and why I'm here.
I've been into power cars for years and built a few. My current ongoing project is an Impreza (don't have a go at me, I'm a massive fan of the flat four) a lot of time and money has gone into it and it's something I've built, so it's not sitting at a 1000bhp and a trillion torque. It does have a 2.5 forged engine running an md321t turbo pushing out 450bhp and 480lbft (600nm torque).
Back to why I'm here. I've managed to swap my motorbike for an e46 323ci BMW (2.5 6 cylinder, 2000 model) I think it has a 3.07 diff as it's standard. So apart from saying hi I'm also wondering would this be a good base car to start from and what should I sort out first. I was thinking of putting a different rear diff in but not sure which one and obviously welding it up as an LSD is out of my budget for now. So any help would be appreciated.
