Have you wired the standard ecu and harness into the s13 ? If so how have ypu done it . Thanks
i installed the standard ECU and stock JZ EFI harness with stock injectors... but i havent yet wired them to the s13.. i am finishing up some other work on the car .. i leave the electrical for last !!

I will for sure update the details of my wiring and explaining by color codes from both engine efi and body harness of the s13 !!
if you will stay updated, you will get the information that you need. probably will wire up during next week if nothing stalled my process !

Hello again everyone.. this is my s13 currently sitting on volk te37. bellow the pictures of new paint for the wheels. i will post later tonight a photo of the car sitting on 4 painted te37 after i install my rear s14 5 lugs !!!

i used p400 wet sand paper to smoothen out the surface.. it is recommended to use 1200 for final give, but my paint can handle the 400 pretty well!!!

Here after the paint, and before the Lacquer coat.. i mixed it myself using Green metallic, Dark Navy Blue, and Metallic Silver to get the turquoise i want !!

Hey Man... i have had the car running now for about a month or so.. all good . the wiring is pretty simple.
IF YOUR EFI HARNESS IS CUT-FREE then your job is easy.

first of all,you need a couple of wires to wire up you Battery (Power) to the engine, alternator and starter.
Next you need to wire the ignition signal wire coming from the ignition switch itself ( if you have a clean wiring chassis, u can find that wire somewhere in the engine bay ) or u can also run a new wire through the fire wall and splice it properly ( solder and shrink tubes ) to the ignition switch ( the switch that activated the starter relay ) so if u still have your stock starter relay fitter, then u can use the wire out of that relay that activates the starter... the engine will crank.

At this stage its good if u want to have oil in the engine and cranking it up to pressurise the galleries, i would also take compression at this stage ( fuel pump fuse taken out, throttle pedal fully pressed, crank for 10 revolutions ) repeat same process on all cylinders, make sure to always tighten well the gauge... PS : if there is dirt or dust or anything near the coil packs, blast with AIR before taking off the spark plugs.

Next in the wiring is to wire up the ECU. 3 or 4 wires depending on your model, and the engine will RUN and idle - JUST like THAT.
B+, BATT, B , GROUND. those are the wires you need to wire up. ALL fused 7.5.
u need to give constant 12v from battery, or from ignition switch which is where u put ur key in. there, you can a wire that always has 12 v. splice that up and give that 12v power to B+, BATT, B.. and there is a ground or 2 that u need to give the ecu.

PS : IF ur car doesnt run, there might be an extra wire from ecu to the igniter. ( ofcourse of all other connections are proper and spark plugs are new, fuel pressure is delivered, and u have pulse and 12v on injectors and coils )

let me know where are u stuck at the moment and what excatly is fitted to your car, and il be able to help you further, even give u ecu pins locations that u need to wire, and all the rest.

IMPORTANT :

ALL ELECTRONICS MUST BE RELAYED AND FUSED AND WIRED PROPERLY
FUEL SYSTEM MUST HAVE GOOD PRESSURE AND SEALED WITH 0 LEAKS OR FUEL PRESSURE DROPS

BREATHING SYSTEM MUST BE COMPLETELY SEALED WITH NO LEAK ( INTAKE / EXHAUST )
ENGINE OIL CHECKED WITH NO LEAKS
COOLANT IS LEAK FREE

ps : you can get your engine to a first start up ONLY without FMIC piping or water or exhaust. .

enjo your build
