I've decided to put my 1986 S12 up for sale to make room for the S15 and my parents driveway of course!

Its a 1986 1.8 Turbo Mk 2, UK model
Light Metallic Blue exterior/Blue interior
Standard Form
74000 miles
MOT untilFebruary 2008
TAX until end of July

I've owned it just over a year now and stopped driving it only 3 weeks ago when I got the new one.

It's been serviced twice by myself, at 58K and 68K, including Air/Fuel/Oil filter, Oil change and Spark plug change. I also put Slick 50 lubricant in the engine when I first bought it.

It had a new radiator at about 60k a sthe otherone had split, Ive flushed and re-antifreezed it twice since then.

It did have an issue with the rear brakes but this was sorted by a reconditioned caliper on the drivers side and new pads 5-6k ago.

Includes 3 almost new and 1 brand new tyre - and matching spare wheel.

It's flown through both the MOT's its had since I've owned it, with only minor welding on the rear sill being significant, otherwise fine! It has not let me down in the time I've owned it, and I've tried to look after it mechanically as best as possible.

I find it can sound a little lumpy on idle but drives smooth, I've used it as a daily driver, it's had a fair bit of motorway use and drives very well for it's age.

This also includes a valuable number plate D60 BAD, which as far as I'm aware is the original plate, this is also a local reg to Gloucestershire.

The only issues with the car are the drivers seat is crooked, so this could do with being replaced, and where the lower bolt holding the drivers side wing on has rusted off, the door catches a little when being opened. other than that the rear heated window doesn't work and the door pins are missing so they dont stay open - I'm told these are both common problems.

Exterior wise the car is relatively straight, only minor marks as expected from a 21 year old car, the only significant mark is a dent on the passenger side rear quarter which was done outside my house last year. Interior is fine apart from the drivers seat being crooked.

if you will take 400 i will have the car out of your way on sunday, is it likely to make a 100 mile journey home ok??

I don't want to take offers on it mate sorry, in my opinion its a £500 car at least, I,ve got no use for it anymore so want it shifted, but with the MOT length etc. I thinks its worth the money.

I can't promise anything...cars are cars...but I've driven it upto 400 miles in a day before.

i have seen and been out in this car!

this car is one of the cleanest s12s i have seen. who ever buys this car is definatly buying a good one and a well looked after one!

Its a good price - weld the diff, rip the interior out, cut the springs and you are happy days :thumbs:
 
Extreemely intrested in (as a project) this depending on a few things (in my life, nothing to do with the car) should be in thouch soon:thumbs:

Like your style dude:wack: lol, would be learning curve/ project/ toy would do a bunch of stuff myself to keep cost down too:)
 
Only down the road from me, just rang james, im gonna go see it tomorrow (id have it tonight if i wasnt busy till about midnight!), cash waiting, ideal for me.

Means im gonna nob the volvo off too, bloody gayness, lol.
