nistune ecu

Ok im thinking about changing the stock s14 turbo and injectors to S15 injectors and turbo along with Z32 AFM so i can have a lil more powers and still keeping things pretty reliable. I already have custom exhaust, nice big IC and air filter , alloy rad to support extra boost and stuff

my question is will i need to remap the ecu to cope with the S15 injectors or are the nistune chips smart enough to compensate for the extra fuel that will be bought in

yeah was gonan get him to spread some love on the car once its all done and i have some money .

I'll fire him a message now

cheers dude

Ian from I A Motorsport @ Sittingbourne now does Nistune as well I think and was skiddings a PS13 at Norfolk this weekend just gone.

Yeah, he's really bloody hot on the whole Nistune stuff and has been mapping them for quite a while now. I believe he's also involved with some of the board testing too for NISTUNE themselves too.

His number is: 07710 561615 if you just want to give him a bell.

has to be remapped for bigger injectors.
if you get a poewr fc,you can compensate for the different injectors yourself

That's what he said to me :D It's a bloody good piece of kit and he's got a really exciting new development for it that he's working on at the moment so well worth having a word with him. I'm going to be going for a set of s15 injectors myself soon and it definately needs a remap. Will make gooooood power though and the Nistune in mine has been brilliant since he fitted it.

caffy i got a s14a ecu whith what i belive is a nistune ecu in it
it run 348 on 555's 2871r, z32 afm

got it up for 100 if you want
also have some 555's laying about too

i went to steve, i put the s15 injectors in, and drove down (so logn as you dont spank it its alright) i didnt add a Z32 (with this you will need a remap so i belive).

just with the S15 injectors, a manifold and FMIC and a silly exhaust on a Redtop Sr20det he got 262bhp and 296 ft/lb.

the man is Epic...

Yep Dave

most of the garages in and around the London, Kent, Essex, and eve Scotland Area use a certain person for their customer solutions (as Im Nistune Dealer & Beta Tester for the main chaps in Australia and have run and tested the system on pretty much ALL the common Nissan Platforms)

if anyone needs to know ANYTHING regarding the Nistune system running on a Nissan engine then please feel free to drop me a PM or better still as BT say, its good to talk - so pick up the phone or drop me a text message (my number can be found on my website below) and ill happily give you a bell back whenever is convenient

Cefiro's ECU's are a little different from ya typical RB20DET ECU set up and early models dont come with the consult port, and also the Nistune ECU boards require specific programming - but lucky for you I've one I ordered for good ol Mr Neville but he's been too busy getting other bits n bobs together so Im stocking 1 at the moment for that specific A31 ECU (ecu motherboards are very similar to early S13 CA's)

So if you or anyone else needs any info on this then ill happily fill you in

You'll see plenty of FCTuningNistune ECU Solutions on my Media Pages and several drivers here on DW and also SXOC are running my setups

In fact more n more guys are binning their Generic setup for one of my properly tuned CUSTOM ECU's and they have always reported back positive vibes in terms of drivability n torque before and after

Even GTR, SX & Pulsar and some VG owners i know that are cruising down the route of an FCTuningNistune ECU Solution

Excuse the slow loading speed gentlemen with any media at the moment (im gradually porting everything over to a brand new site and switching all hosting to my new vimeo channels) with a full engine index and search engine (Which is taking me ages as ive over 400 + recorded dyno tunes - well just the ones ive bothered to upload so as you can imagine this takes a looooooong time) but I hope to have this up and running full before the new year for you all to browse as one will be able to select a channell and pretty much see full footage and graphs and certain log data (which ill display on one or two tunes) to give you an idea as to what kinda performance to expect

forgot to tell you here's your edited footage from your tune :)

Nissan Silvia PS13

Nissan Silvia PS13

its one of the above Silvias :)

Steve, he's running an SR in an R32 so there's no need for you to worry about Cefiro ecu's :D

*smallhijack* will be sending footage your way later this week hopefully and up for a new remap with extra parts next month :D */smallhijack*

SR??

oh ok, good stuff, no probs there then (S14 or S14a though?)

we all like footage (as im sure newbies do) as its always good to see what ya paying for but more so for the education

watching tuning an being present with the noise n pipes poppin off n allsorts are two different things

look forward to catching up then with you guys and touching base when you got your new bits n bobs :)

Hey Steve thanks for the info mate

i have a 96 s14 sr20 in the 32. Its Mr Ruston's old engine and iirc its got the nistune ecu, front mount, filter, walbro or bosch 044, exhaust, standard T28 and alloy rad. It made about 262bhp if im correct on 15 psi but i have only ever run it at 10psi coz im that good :p

I want about 300 so thought the cheapest easiest route is s15 BB , injectors and Z32.

Would 555's be a waste for that setup ?

i'll give u a ring soon mate

555 would be better to be honest as the S15BB (GT2560R) can be boosted to develop lots of nice torque but the engine needs the fuel midrange, and you can never have too much

Best peak boost for this unit Ive discovered since testing many is around 1.3bar and anymore than this you start to loose efficiency and feel compressor surge on the road, and this is CLEARLY shown when dyno tuning on a FRESH S15 SR20DET (ill post graphs shortly, as the say on Blue Peter on one I did earlier - also running an FCTuningNistune Setup)

At 300hp on the S15 turbo, power peaks very early, Around 6k, just before but torque is DAMN NICE AROUND 3.3K AND LOTS of it too, ideal for all you drifters without having to hurt the engine by bouncing off the rev limiter

Hope that helps
