NZ R32 Widebody Weapon

First things first, in true kiwi south form i did as anyone would do with a non turbo, try as hard as possably to blow the thing up, real novice street drift one whella pella. as i say "if you can drift an NA rb u can drift em all" shortly after a couple months won this from NZ Police..

just had a look at the rest of your photos on imageshack. looks like its gunna be a sick skyline. like the gtr style your going with. are those factory gtr wide rear fenders?
 
So after my nice sticker it was time to strip her down. anything non turbo or not upto scratch was removed, at first my vision was to convert this thing fully to a gtr
 
na wider than gtr, will show later, have had alot more photos but some wog stole my phone, but still hav some good ones in the mean time.

Well first thing all running gear out, personal best time auctly and off to trade me to get all the base parts i needed. Found a cheap buy r33 gtr seats and 32 gtr rear seats, 320km nismo speedo thats all the inside needs..

before i continue the theme of the car had changed after id seen the movie 1970's "smokey and the bandit"
the concept is an r32 that is night time camo and is a street weapon that can evade all nz police.

so as i brought and highly recomend the purchase of smoked out gtr indicators and tinted out taillights. i also managed to score a set of N1 black headlights in rough condition which i can just use the inserts the have.

next was make this baby 5 stud and while not fussed on expensive ones atm i got a set of gtr old slow heavy 2 and 4 pot brakes. front hub cradles swaped with gtst ones to make it rwd.

**also it was to much work to convert too 4wd as gtr and gts4 have differnt front chassis rails.

Body kit

now after a body kit i really wanted to do the r34 conversion to make this puppy as wide and low as possable but after the amount of people complaining and their horrable fitment i changed concept.

i did however buy a set of the conversion rear fenders and as a step back look this wasnt going to be the look i would be proud of. so i managed to get a custom r32 wide body kit rear end.. the bumper linedup horriabley, all bowed but the wide rear fenders were usable so i read some fourms and went too it, DIY wide body haha

a quick trip to mag and turbo and walked out with the perfect set(my opinion) it was these or dirty drift teks

After buying a new virtex rear bumper i went to work fitting the kit,

-Cut old guards out and folded steel out, cut new steel out and fabracated arches for the new rear wheel wells

-guards riveted on and fibreglased on now just finishing off small filler patching up the joins



18x8 25mm dish and 18x9, 60m dish, not happy with look so swap 18x9 to front and jst orderd a new pair of 18x10 with a 90mm dish to fill out the rear...+spacers tehehe

Just orded a new set of HSD hr coilovers to scrape this orphan slayer on its diff mounts tehehe

Bwahahaha, so to teach europe how to mod an r32 your turning it into a gtr rep with weak wheels and then fitting european suspension??? I am sensing a LOT of fail with this fella.......please prove me wrong!!
 
keep at it fella, if your doing it all yourself good on you....

maybe less "teach Europe" how to build cars attitude will win you more friends!
