Off set question

Can some one tell me if some 16x7" rims with +35 offset for the front and 16x8" with +38 offsetfor the rear will look ok on a S13 when sitting low on HKS Coilovers?I am confused as to if the +__number if lower means the rim will stick out further?

If the offset is a lower number, the wheels will stick out further

Nah you want at least 20mm spacers frontand rear

Ok then what about some-17"x 8" +25 and 17" x 9" +32 how would they fit and look.

Start at 0 and work outwards dude

If buying rims mate get some that are right to start with wide and low offset.

i treid the wheels i have my eye on...

Phils wasnt spacers. It was basically getting wide arse rims like you wanted, splitting them and reversing them.

another probably stupid question but i have to ask.

after finding out the rims i wanted for my s14(TE37's) are way to expensive for my broke ass, i have managed to find a cheaper alternative (not as sexy but will do the job) in 18x8

i can get them in any offset from 10~50, what would you recommend? according to that link earlier, an offset of 21 will place the wheels in the same place on the inside will stick out 38mm further on outside. is that gonna be enough? I plan on dropping the car at the same time, probably on tein HE's

any help wuold be appreciated.

ok firstly 8J is so weak sauce on S14. on a standard arch (with rolled lip, not flared) you wanna be going

front 8.5J ET +5

rear 9.5J ET +12

i happen to be considering selling the rims and spacers i have now... (the black 17" sparcos)

oh tyre wise you wanna be on a 215 45 front and 225 45 rear.
