oil cooler and inline thermostat thingy

i need a cost on an oil cooler, 19 row is a bit big, im looking for someting low and long , maybe 9 row

like the first two on the right of the pic

also does your inline thermostat have a take off at all ? i have a mocal sandwich plate that has one take off which will be used for oil prpessure but i need antoher one for temp and not keen on running two plates

Wouldnt you be better off with at least a 13 row?? Cant remember where I read but apparently anything 2litre+ it's ideal to have 13row upwards?

Although i'm purely quoting and not going from experience
 
dont know, nver really heard anythign lieik that before ... its just to make it that lil bit cooler to help with fast days like pod
 
coz i needed the beema sorting out and i forgot i ordered a new sammich plate from apex and it came in the post after we did the deal :wack:

Haha, well apart from the adaptor being for a ca or rb it fitts a treat with no leaks:D Hope htat makes you feel better:p
 
hahaha yeah it does dude, but it had been on and off the car like 3 times so got so pissed of with spending money on the fecking thng GRRRRRRRRRR .. so its that lil bolt type thingy that does threw the center fo the plate in to the block that isnt the right one ???? havent heard back from autobahn 88 surprise surprise but if DW can get just that then i'll sort that out for ya dude :thumbs:

u only called my at like 1130 this morning and its done already ..... why the fuck do i still not have a welded diff anf steering in the beema then :smash:
 
Hi Mike,

The reason we sell 19 row coolers is because for a road/track drift car this is the best compromise between OTT cooling and there being no reason to do it. For your purpose there's no reason to run anything smaller, or we'd sell smaller ones. For an all out track car we'd often run bigger, but to be honest the 19 row is a really good balance.

If during the winter you feel it's keeping a bit TOO cool, then you'd be better off just blocking off the airflow, just downspeccing means when it comes to hard driving/track use the cooler will be totally pointless and the oil temps will still go too high.
