Oil Filter Relocation and cooler

Hi Kev,

It should have both fittings for metric & imperial (sr and rb) thread in with the kit, we don't sell the adapters seperately I'm afraid but you should have everything you need! They use a metric (s14) filter.

S14 and R33 clutch lines are the same, yes. :)

I've got the same problem with vinces car, S14 to BNR33 conversion, is the only option to sell the kit and buy an new one ?

Clarkey

Trouble is if we split a kit for any single component then we're pretty much stuck with a redundant box of bits. :(

I bought the kit second hand so no idea whether it has the necessary fixings for the RB :(

Have you got any details of the part required to make it fit the RB, is it something we will be able to get hold from elsewhere?

Also re the filter, wouldnt the S14 one be a touch small? the standard RB25 one is huge in comparison.

The S14 one is just fine, flow rate and pressure is spot on for the RB. Any metric filter will go on so if you want one physically bigger then you can get an M20x1.5 filter of any size with the correct pressure rating, but the S14 one does the job.

I'm using an S14 filter on my 560bhp 1JZ with no problems.

The part required to make it fit the RB is the adapter peice threaded into the oil filter adapter, it just needs to be the correct thread. Not impossible to retap the existing fitting I suppose.

ok cool many thanks for the info :)

what thread would I need to get cut into the plate? I suppose another option is to buy just a relocation kit and sell on the excess parts

Sorry to drag this up but I couldnt find the cooler in the shop to find the info. What size fixings does this kit use? i am looking to buy a different take off plate to allow this kit to fit my RB

Cheers

We have yep, supply was becoming a bit of an issue so we're looking around to see what alternative options we can come up with for the same sort of kit.
