Toyota Corolla Ae86 coupe, Drift car. Sr86
Converted to Nissan 180sx suspension setup front and rear including front S13 crossmember with power steering rack.
Underside of shell stitch welded,
Front valances are tubbed.
Rear is Turreted for S13 Coilovers
Front strut towers changed to suit s13 Coilovers.
Rear arches tubbed.
Removable Tube front end,
Rear pockets and boot floor removed.
Large gearbox tunnel,
Full IDC/BDC spec Weld in roll Cage.
All fabrication done by Roco performance in Ireland.
Suspension :
Driftworks black generation 2 Geomaster hubs all round converted to take 4x114.3 wheels.
S13 Polybushed rear subframe
Ksport s13 Coilovers all round with camber plates in front.
Adjustable rear camber arms
Adjustable rear Toe arms
Adjustable Japspeed rear traction arms (1 event old)
Tein front Castor arms.
S14 bottom arms modified for extra clearance and to prevent inner bushing binding (ball joints replaced 1 event ago)
Steering :
Tein extended inner track rods with rack spacers.
SPL pillow ball outer track rod ends with roll centre adjustment spacers.
S13 power steering setup.
Steering rack moved forward on s13 crossmember.
Brakes :
R32 Gtr rear calipers and discs re drilled to 4x114.3.
S13 front calipers with grooved Brembo discs.
ODP Hydraulic handbrake with 0.75 cylinder.
Steel braided brake lines and clutch lines throughout car.
Fueling :
30 Litre Aluminium fuel cell with built in scavange pot and breather pipe, mounted on rear chassis legs. Fire walled under fabricated false boot floor.
Bosch 044 External fuel pump.
Fuel filters fitted before pump and after pump.
Steel braided fuel lines throughout car.
Engine :
S13 blacktop sr20det from 97 180sx.
Rebuilt one event ago with new ACL race series bearings, (big ends, crank bearings, thrust washers)
New stem seals,
New piston rings,
High pressure oil pump,
Cosworth 1.1 Steel head gasket,
Crank polished,
Engine built by Brendan Stone in GripFab.
Nismo 555cc injectors.
Z32 MAF
Apexi Air filter.
Excellent quality Japanese branded SS 4branch manifold,
Garrett GT2871r turbo (4 events old)
Braided water and oil lines on turbo.
Japspeed SS Turbo elbow.
Half length Exhaust with 60 degree bend under car.
Running on a Nistune board. Mapped by Ricahard Bradley on pump fuel to 350bhp @1.3 bar.
Always ran with Millers CVL turbo octane booster and Millers Nano Tec 10w 60 engine oil.. Full car custom wired for the bare essentials.
Transmission :

Custom 1 piece prop shaft made by Naylor Engineering.

Overall :
Car painted in new Toyota Grey colour outside. Interior, engine bay and underneath car is painted black, minor damage to fibreglass on rear bumper and bootlid but is only cosmetic. minor cracks on other pieces of fibreglass but not bad.
Roll cage is painted fluorescent yellow with the proper paint not aerosol.
Car cost over 30,000 euro to build and has been developed over two seasons to work very well..
