Hi Y'all,

So we are new here, we just picked up an MX5 and are looking for places to take it drifting

We looking at the MSVT novice days, Oulton not to far but she's working the next available day for that..

Dwyb.co.uk have a date at Santa pod but its far away & i think its not on the track is it ? just round some cones in a carpark ? correct me if I'm wrong..

I saw a post about Birmingham wheels, but can't see any contact number & looks like no recent posts for this group or events they have ? do they still hold days in birmingham

Any suggestions appreciated, carparks open spaces etc.. I'm not from birmingham originally..

Thanks

Santa Pod DWYB is only just over an hour away. It is only a car park, but if you're new to drifting then it's one of the best places to go. Birmingham wheels drift days are organised under the name skid risk. Brum wheels is a great place if you have experience. The walls don't take prisoners!

Thanks for the reply Dori,

i think we wil do santa pod one cheers as she is working on next Oulton park drift day, & right i hear u on the walls.. yes we don't want walls or curbs just yet ! thanks

Skid Risk days at Brum include pens in the carpark area just down the hill. Perfect for beginners in fact. Afternoon last time I was there they set up a kidney in the carpark area so that people could progress before going onto the full track. It's a great place to learn.

Thanks Sea Squirrel,

How do i contact them do u know ? are they still going ? when i google them i just find a blog with last post 2012 : /

Thanks

Look on here under drifting events - drift practice days- skid risk. The next date is next weekend I believe but they're pretty regular dude
