Looking for drift events close to Bristol. Heard westonzoyland is pretty good value, but can't find events anywhere on the Internet.

I've been to matchams at ring wood tonight which was an experience.
£25 for 3 hours of drifting around a beaten up carpark.
Get what u pay for I guess!

Yes, I'd say Birmingham is close enough.

Any more info on the matchams, is there a website?

skid risk at birmingham wheels is very soon, in fact its usually the first sunday of every month.

theres even a thread on here, not sure if youve read it?

Yeah theres a facebook group called ''Pro Drift Amigo Nights''. Its quite rough up the top part of the track but for £25 its worth a look.

I'm also looking at the Smeatharpe drift day aka Dakota drift.

As matey says matchams top track is rough, you can drift on the oval there which is much nicer for li,e a fiver but for some reason all the nice cars go smash their steering arms into the floor for £25 and the ovals full of missiles crashing into each other.
I did see the top track has had some holes filled recently mind.
Westonzoyland is run through south west performance car on Facebook. It's limited numbers and is usually booked up by regulars but opportunities do arise.

The bottom line with matchams is you get what you pay for really.
Just wish there was more drift practice days in the south but can't grumble too much as some people drive a lot further than I do and I live on the Isle of Wight!

Skidrisk is the first sunday of every month, good price at £35 for the day in advance. There's a few pf us from Gloucester that head up pretty much every month. Pembrey is another worth a look, not sure on dates though, but its not a million miles from Bristol
