Anyone interested in my old '83 944? It's black, has re-con wheels on it, new alternator, bodywork generally ok but she's a bit of a hack. Head gasket has just gone on it. Looking for about £500 for it. Good reliable car when fixed. Goes quite well too.

By the way biach. It was mine not the old mans. A 944 isn't exactly a 911 GT3 yer know ;) Cheaper to run that most cars.
 
if im right when i was workin in vw someone told me that the 944 was built around a mk2 golf chasse i think , the gt verson they did was cool

So you were in 'Nam too huh? None of these PC candy drifters will EVER understand what we went through in 'Nam :no: . They think a scratch on their bumper and a coupla zip-ties are hardcore... They need to hang y'all white ass outta Huey. So what base were you out of Sgt. Bolox san?
 
I was mostly based out of Da Nang. But on my 2nd tour I became a bit of a loner and completed a lot of missions for the CIA rather than the corp. Took out a few comsac intelligence missions through Nha Trang. I agree with you though....some people here need to get their ass in the bush and see how it was for us grunts. FNG's!
