Hi lads,
First of all please don't flame me, because I opened the thread as a newbie I have an interesting question what I couldn't find any answer yet, but I kinda expected this.
So I would like to know how sponsorship works out at drift. Just the basics, I dont expect anyone to be too detailed.
I used to be a sponsored paintball player for a while. (aged only 15) If anyone wants to know how professional paintball works, i would be more then happy to help!
Quick insight:
Our equipment worth thousands of pounds/person. (we had over 10members) We got the newest stuff leased before the season. We had to complete several championships with good positions. If everything worked out great, we didn't have to pay anything at the end of the season, and most likely get the contract renewed. If we partly succeed, we would need to pay like 40% off the retail price.. If we failed we probably had to pay 80%-100% for the equipment.
Anyway, im just interested how these things work out here. I could also talk miles about the paintball business, if anyone is interested
Cheers
