Right, well at last I have got myself an S13.
Picked it up last night and it is now parked at my work awaiting me to take the head off. I have bought it with a suspected siezed camshaft, shouldn't really be a problem as between myself and my mates we have got a few spare parts.
Reading through the book of reciepts that came with it it would appear to of had a brand new Hybrib Turbo Technics Turbo fitted 8 months ago and at some point early in it life an uprated actuator and a ECU Chip. Hoping to get the head off of it on Saturday and inspect it for damage.
Is there anything I should be watching out for that they are common for and should I be thinking of uprating anything whilst I have got it stripped down?
I am also on the look for a set of second hand coilovers as I haven't really got the spare cash for new at the minute and some 17" or 18" deep dish alloys. I have got it booked in to have the arches rolled and flared so width, within reason, shouldn't be a problem.
This is my first, hope to be, drift car so I am still quite new to all the jargon that surrounds it. Any help and advice will be greatfully recieved and I hope to be out on the roads soon!!
