My black PS13. Imported, MOT'd and registered by me last summer.
Originally a Q's non-turbo automatic, it received a thorough de-gaying operation in Japan and got a proper SR20DET with a manual 'box before being auctioned.
Interesting spec:
JIC Magic coilovers
Nismo 2-way LSD (it's deffo a clutch-type 2-way LSD, only proof of Nismo is the auction sheet).
Full stainless Nismo exhaust with de-cat
Good clutch, unknown make but strong as you like.
Rota 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 D1 wheels with half-worn Goodyear Eagles
HI-CAS was removed after a drifting incident, so it's got a UK-spec rear subframe. No weird wobbling now.
EBC red-stuff pads all round.
HKS intake.
Yawn spec:
Leccy mirrors
Working climate control (woo! air-con!)
Nardi wheel
Razo carbon knob
No stereo (listen to the booooooooost!)
All fluids have been changed regularly - I get the best stuff for free. Have only just changed the diff-oil, engine and gearbox oil for top-spec fully-synthetic 76 Racing stuff. Can give you the next change of fluids too!
On track at Japfest, two GTRs nailed and an RX7 :
The car sailed it's MOT last November and has been used nearly everyday since. 10,000kms since import - and a petrol bill to match. It is quite possible to squeeze over 30mpg, but the sound of boost is far too big a temptation for me!
The engine is as sweet as they come, running 0.7bar of boost on the stock cooler with an SAFC-II plumbed in. I use this for monitoring knock, but have also run the car precautionarily rich on the two trackdays its done to keep temperatures down. Tested performance is 0-60 in 5.9 and 0-100 in 16s. Driftbox will not be sold with the car!
Engine bay:
The only bad thing about this car is the cosmetics. It's not rotten, just the victim of a few drift scars back in Japan. Beaten back to merely-rippled rear nearside quarter panel, and rear bumper touched up with a rattle can in several places. Bonnet is slightly creased too. But I've got a never-fitted carbon VIS bonnet to go with the car. The GRP front bumper is as you can see. It could really do with a stock bumper or a whole new bodykit for £500 off eGay.
So if it's all such good fun, why am I selling it? It's living beyond my means right now. I need an economy car for bigger MPGs and a more disposable car for track fun. MOT 'til November. Tax is out. But with a deposit I can tax it for 6months for you to drive straight away.
Price: £3500
