Query about HKB boss kits

Hi all,

Just a quick question. A while ago, I purchased an ON-203 from a member on here that had only just received it from the DW shop for my '98 S14a (w/airbag), but it didn't have the right flange on the rear to fit around the airbag clockspring. I then purchased an ON-228 to try, and this fit perfectly around the clockspring and worked a treat.

I now have a 99/00 S14a and am once again looking at boss kits on your store, but I don't want to buy the ON-203 based on your recommendation and it not suit my car to have to return it for the other one. Is there any chance the later S14a's might need the ON-228? Any advice/pics of what each of them actually should look like would be great!

Never had an S14/a that didn't use ON-203, and we sell a lot of them.
Very strange!

I have no answer for that. Maybe it's had a later airag ring fitted?
 
I have a feeling my ON-203 boss (still have one from the old car) isn't actually an ON-203. Although it is boxed etc it doesn't look like this, which im guessing it should?

Turd, looks like my ON-203 is not what it should be. Thanks for your help, I shall be ordering one from you guys soon then!
