Quick racks, reducers for lock to lock

Haven't got the cash for one at the moment but is something i'd be interested in, in the future.

Is there anything avaliable for the 200sx s13 to reduce the amount of turns from lock to lock or how about the universal jobbies that you cut the steering column then fit inline?

Nothing available for S13s that I know of, apart from a 180sx HICAS rack but they have slightly less lock than a non HICAS S13.

ahh ok thanks, i've been desperately scouring google for the inline universal lock reducers but just can't find them.
Think i saw them on a nz drift vid somewhere.

I still don't see the point, when you're drifting the steering wheel turns itself anyway, all you have to do is let go at the right time. Much faster than you'd ever manage with your hands, even with a quickener thing.

i hear what your saying and tbh i'm a noob drifter anyway but what i've found is that you let go or spin the wheel one way to get angle but need to be quick to pull the wheel back the other way to catch it and flick the other way.
With a lock reducer i reckon personally it'd save me a bit of elbow action lol :)

Do a search on here for castor. You need adjustable tension rods, thats all. Std castor is IIRC 7deg, maybe 7.5. Adding castor (the angle of the front strut towards the direction of travel) will make the steering self correct quicker. :)

Yeh tell me about it... I spent a whole term at uni studying suspension geometry and how to eradicate bump steer and bullshit like that :smash:

Doesn't mean I know everything there is to know about suspension setup... I could work out the maths maybe but that doesn't explain the feel lol! Give yourself some extra caster with some adjustable tension rods and you should feel its a lot more responsive but I wouldn't take my word as gospel as I can't drift for shit yet... im just going on the theory lol/
