R31 4 door skyline

I am going to have to get rid of this as i can't afford to insure this and my s13 at the same time:cry: .
i have just sent away for the V5 as i haven't had this car long but i should have this back soon. it has no mods except the JDM spec rear lights and a :dw: gear knob with flowers:wack: . (nothing that will help it drift:rolleyes: )
it is a very rare car with tons of potential but is a blank canvas (i.e needs trick wheels and a more powerful engine imho:o ) but does drift ok.

it has a 2 litre (CA20S) 4 cyl. n/a engine, carb.
manual box
power steering
jvc 6x9's
alpine (cassette reciever:rolleyes: )
air con, which needs gassing, yet another job i haven't got round to:o
the paintwork is tatty in places but i think this would make an excellent project. i am told that datsun 'L' series, RB and CA engines fit on the original mounts and theres plenty of space
i bought this off a banger racer who didn't treat it to well, i have tidyed it up a lot but it is not mint.
i have just put this through its MOT less than two weeks ago and is taxed until the end of the year

i am looking for about £600 after having this valued by a club but is difficult as there aren't many to compare with:wack:
i have a pair of 14" ssr mesh i bought for this car, i could include them but i would be after a bit more.

hmmmm idea forming.....

does that light unit contain the indicators and the reverse etc? cus it looks a lot like the size of the laurel units.

That is a bargain. If I hadn't just spent that much money on coilovers I would have probably bought it! :wack:

the indicators/reverse lights are a part of the twin-round unit and cannot be separated from each other.

whats the insurance like matey? would it be achivable for younger peeps?

possibly, you will have to try and get a quote, this can be awkward as most insurers have never heard of one or are even aware that jap/ south african imports exist. i told one insurer that it was a jap import but then they got confused when i gave them a 7 digit vin number :D LOL.
i was quoted £550 through A-plan (5 years no claims and 6 points) which isn't too bad but i also pay £750 on my s13 so combined is a bit dear.
give it a go, it is a south african skyline R31 4 door 2.0 GLE '91 in manual (in case you missed it first time around :D )

forgot to mention that it has about 130,000 kms on the clock and the speedo still reads in kms.
here are a few more pictures
this one with the rare south african lamps

it looks the same as the r31 nissan pintara in australia, i had an r31 skyline silhouette myself when i lived there 2 years ago, they are a good car.

im sorry but its look like a nissan bluebird from the back, not a fan

seen you drift a couple of times though, nice.....
