Interested in getting an R32 skyline 2.0 4 door non turbo as a daily and toy, need some questions answered...

Insurance group?
Power? (told around 150hp)
Price?
Mpg?
LSD?

Have you tried Google?

Most of That can be found pretty easily tbh mate.

Edit trying to be a hit more helpful

Insurance group will still be high as its an import still.
Power will be around what you said. Mpg won't be great still and you might as well weld the diff

Power: fuck all
LSD: only on some models. Easy thing to swap one in though.
Fuel economy: pretty good not sure on the exact mpg

cant give you the rest but in Nz
Insurance: 150 pound for a year (full cover)
Cost of car 300-2000 pound.

May aswell just get a turbo'd one mate, especially since the difference isnt great on most tthings apart from the power that is lol

Ins group won't be any lower for the non-turbo, ins companies tend to just lump all the skyline models into one group.

How good are the turbo ones on fuel though? And how strong are the engines? Had an s13 a long time ago and had bottom end issues. Kinda the reason I was looking more at a non turbo. Figured it had to be better getting a slide on than my old 520i zimmer was.

Fuel economy is on a turbo is down to how you drive it. RB20's are pretty tough, will take shit loads of limiter abuse.
Stewy Bryants rb20 is proof of that.

I've had mine for 4 years and no problems to report.

Don't think they're that thirsty, you can get 25mpg i think from them. And they can be had for under £1500,but you still pay high insurance on them as gooly says i think all skylines are placed in the same group.

Insurance group~ same as all other R32's although some companies will load the policy differently if they know what the hell they're on about.
Power? (told around 150hp)~+5hp lol, tbh tho it's a daily so why worry about that.
Price? ~ like anything all down to condition, but availability is the issue as R32's seem to be getting rare lately.
Mpg? ~ an honest 25mpg for me that's doing mainly short journeys to work in the week
LSD?~ nope. weld it, also some have s13 rear frames which is a plus for skids.

all based on last 3 years of ownership of my 2 door, I would also point out it drifts fine despite what people will tell you and the engine loves some abuse.
