R33 Drift/Track/Road car project

Hi there everyone!

I am currently slowly building my R33 into a Drift/Track car that wont be too much of a pig on the road so I can use it everyday.

Im thinking of replacing my diff very soon over the winter. But I feel like a fully welded/locked diff might be too much for road use.

Has anyone got any advice or suggestions as to what I should do regarding this upgrade? any help on which diff ratios works best on R33 for Drift,Track and road use would be very helpful and any advice on purchasing a diff would help.

many thanks!!

I think that the best is locked diff, not welded because when you will use your car for routine use you will have problems on parking or in another situations, and if you are good mechanic, you would can change the diff when you will want to do drift putting locked diff and for street putting a locked diff. If you put a welded diff you will have a lot of problems on street, so the best for you is put a locked diff and buy an other cheap diff not locked for routine uses... I swear that is the best of that, because having welded/locked diff on street cause a lot of problems... I tell you this because I had had a lot of shit with that...
