has anyone fitted or know any info on fitting r34 brakes onto a s14.....front and rear. cus i have been offered the whole set cheep!!!!! :D

Fronts are a relatively easy fit, you need to drill out the mounting holes on the front hubs to fit M14 bolts (drill out to 14mm ;)) and you need to find a set of m14 fine thread mounting bolts and probably cut them down.. The rears are alot more difficult as you loose your handbrake when fitting them. I may be interested in buying the rears myself though to use with my hydraulic handbrake setup, PM me a price if your interested in a deal :)

Phil,

How are you going to set the rears up? use the original Skyline parts or sort something out yourself?

I was thinking about this but it looks like it's gonna be too expensive to fit the rears

Alg

I'm not going to have a parking brake, it's not ideal, but the cars not exactly much of a road car anymore, so it doesn't bother me to much :)

What about MOT?

let me know what you have been offered and maybe we can come to an arrangement. I already have R33GTR rears to go on, but I'd prefere matching gold R34GTR rears ;) :dermal: :D

The most expensive bit is the brakes themselves. Use an S13 handbrake assembly which will fit straight onto the S14 and then get a custom/bodged cable.

Yay, S13 parts as an upgrade for S14s. Ace.:wack:

LOL! It was only a matter of time,

I could describe it as a weight reduction exercise,

Don't think I could live without the handbrake on mine (although MOTs aren't a problem either :D )

Gonna have a chat with Abbey and see what they can come up with
