NICE. Had a TA22 ST a few years back but had to sell it... really miss it!

that is one cool car. buy it brother will, you deserve that in your life. Its the only car that really pulls me away from wanting an S30 as a toy. In addition, put a 2JZ in it and hit the wangan laaaaaad :worthy:

Thanks mate! It is totally awesome and guts me to get rid of it but I just don't have the time to spend on the car it needs... :(

That is fantastic....if only i had the cash.....one of my favourite ever cars, and totally incredible with that engine.
Good luck with the sale, it certainly wont hang around too long.

I dont think so, i know of the TA22 chassis code, and the RA28 chassis code.
My dad had an RA28 for 7 years when i was a kid....i loved it....the fool swapped it for a vw scirocco (we are talking circa 1991), so the Celica was considered old hat and not cool back then.

You can get the coupe versions and liftback versions, both came in 1600cc and 1800cc guise.
UK cars are rare now, and normally rotting away, your best bet is an import, but even in Japan they are starting to fetch some cash now.

This one for sale i have to say is quite possibly the best example i have seen in or out of japan.
If you look on ebay.com, the americans got this shape aswell, and theres normally one or 2 for sale over there, but this beats anything ive seen by miles.

You should just buy this, as all the history in the build is with the owner!

I'd like to say, i do not know funkula, but i really really appreciate the work he has done with this car....top job that man!
 
Hi! Thanks for all the props everyone. Glad you like the car! Unfortunately I can't take the credit for all the work done to it - It was done by the previous owner last year who did a top job! I bought it hoping to restore the interior but just haven't and won't have the time to finish it off, hence the sale!

If anyone is seriously interested I can pass on the previous owners details to you who will be happy to talk you round the car etc.

I'm guessing that you were Llewmonster on that cockface website 300zx.co.uk and you sold your car to bird from up norf??

thanks for the info....ive done a little bit of digging and found that you can get them imported for about £3500 on the road. thats for a std car but only 42,000km and grade 4!, 569,000 yen..........

Yo! Bird was not happy and wanted to kick my ass etc but he failed to mention on the zed site that the gearbox and clutch on the car he sold me was knackered!

Felt real bad about that whole thing so I don't bother with the 300ZX site anymore which is a shame cos I still love zeds. This car is straight by the way Chunkus and not a total jinx like Birds zed seems to be!
