Range rover v8

For sale is my 1988 range rover classic v8 petrol with manual gearbox and vehicle is left hand drive with tow bar. Has mot and tax till may next year is a great run around have moved several engines and gearbox etc in the back and towed many drift cars around. Pm for details and pictures thanks guys

Sorry there was me thinking a for sale thread actually meant you had to put a price on it...just me being stupid obviously. :o :worthy:

Reason I looked is that I have a friend who is mad on Rover V8's, runs a V8 powered drag car and is regularly after doner vehicles to get the engines. However, I would need a price if I were to tell him about it now wouldn't I? :rolleyes:

Rang my mate and he said it's worth £300 tops, he's always buying these along with his group of drag racing buddies. Will you take it?

This isn't SXOC rules guys, there is no rules saying a seller must put a price up on the thread, he has clearly stated if your interested to PM him, maybe that would be best ??

Worth a little more then £300 for a v8 manual lol.

Not been on SXOC so don't know the rules over there. However, I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for a price so that it is clear and everyone gets the same deal. My 'in box' spends most of the time on the brink of being full so I can't be bothered with PMs. My mate would want it just for the engine and box, which is probably why he goes in low with his offers on these type of things.

Right I'm getting fed up of shit I will not take 300 as it isn't an engine it's a complete car with tax and mot and any car that can tow and be used as a daily is worth alot more than that and could break it for more as they are good offroaders I would take 1k for it as it is a classic and in very good condition as dry stored for years has 5 new tyres nt long ago and is worth that to me due to it's towing and transporting capabilities so serious offers which is y I put pm as people who are serious will pm for details unlike you asking just the price no milage or pics etc which people would want if serious about buying it
 
For u chunk 250 and the jag is a deal and nick I will send u some pictures of the engine etc how it is now or I'm updating my build thread when I get home tomoz so u can have a look. I would also swap for a rwd daily
 
If you are going to put a mega lazy thread up stating just the bare minimum (well not even that) then surely you have got to expect "all this shit" If you dont even give people a clue of what you think its worth how are they supposed to give a sensible offer>?

All youve really said is that is a v8 manual and is road legal. It could be an absolute dog or it could be a 50k minter, how do you expect people to know?

Or you could wait until you are able to get to a computer to actually put the details up. I bet a fair few people were interested until you sounded off like an absolute moron - I am writing this post from a phone, but I have managed to spell all of my words correctly GLWS
 
Give him a chance, not everyone sits at the computer 24/7, clearly he put this up to gain some interest so when he returns home in a few days he can reply to pm's update thread.

This is a fantastic Range Rover and is easly worth 1k, i've seen it with my own eyes, it has been in the desert most of its life and is super low mileage, no rust, its most likey the tidyest body Range rover of its age!! easy worth 1k!! manual V8!! Engine is properly mint!!

Now give him a chance to post up some details, pm if your genuinely interested in getting a bargin.

I have bean in this car a number of time's, if it was me i would not be selling it cuz its bad ass.....
Defantly worth well over £1.5k as in well mint and all of the above GLWS dude:thumbs:
