hi, i am a noob too, got the same car (1995) and just change it to RB25det s2 early this year. got the engine from a half cut of nissan stagea 4wd. Mod the oil sump to make it to 2wd (pain in the ***) expensive to buy the adapter. change it to manual too. Wiring? couldn't start for a month just to troubleshoot what the problem was. Hard to find wiring speacialist here and have to use the original harness and make it to work for the engine but in the end it starts. After few months of daily drive suddenly it starts to stop while driving and end up buying reconditioned CAS and still waiting for MAF (bad MAF) to arrive since air/fuel ratio not balance. hope this helps
