Replaced mx5 with E46 330 any advice to get it drift ready?

So i have decided that im selling my mx5 mk1 as i wanted more power and im a bit to big for it and replacing it with a e46 330 i haven't had German motors before so this was a hard one for me, I'm going to pick it up tomorrow I'm gutted to find out there open diff so the welder will be coming out...and the price of a lsd well fuck me...

As I said I'm out of my depth with a German motor so any advice or guidance would be great
