Rockingham outer paddock IS200

Thought id share some images that Daniaustinphotography and Popplexposure got of me from a rockingham outer paddock day. This was my 3rd ever drift day in my V8 is200 and i'm pretty happy with my progression. No real idea on how to correctly set up a drift car but it feels very stable and predictable and can relax behind the wheel. Although i'm now finding myself needing more grip, currently on ebay special 225 40 18's on 20psi which helped but still found myself needing more grip. Will have to dial out the rest of my rear camber, currently on -1 degree, and maybe soften the rear dampers off slightly for abit more squat.

Quite happy with my lead runs, found myself always being able to put the car where i wanted it, and also staying a nice distance away from the walls for now! haha! Was also a big eye opening finally getting to chase some people which is something i've never done properly, manage to really get on some doors!

Thanks for looking, check out my instagram for pictures and videos: IG: bullet.factory

And a final video from the awesome escort i was chasing, and also getting hunted down by BDC pro-am driver Dominic Gates in his JZs13.

mental mate, what power are you running? think i see you at pod last month i have a white s13 running a 1uz

Thanks man! Was a pretty crazy day!
It's running 325whp now with manifolds, exhaust, air filter and a Link G4+ extreme with e throttle. Really happy with how it drives, the torque makes it so easy and effortless, spent all day in 3rd gear and it only needs around 4000rpm!

Nice! how you getting on with the UZ?

Yeah all good bud, apart from ripping the clutch out on my last run at pod, as you say with all the low end torque they drift so effortlessly I’m not at your power level yet tho, I’m on a standard ecu and manifolds just with an exhaust and air filter, what manifolds did you go for? As space is very tight in mine.

Oh shit son! haha

The UZ is quite easy to free up some power, it's just the exhaust and tune that lets them down, they are very restricted and made for cruising torque. I had my manifolds made by a company called Rogue Motorsport and they are a serious work of art! I'll upload a picture later on, they were not cheap though!

Will have to look them up as said tho space is really tight on the driver side so I might just keep the standard manifolds
