Rota Grid Drift Wheels ?

Hi,

Iam really keen on a new set of Rota Grid Drifts but I havent managed to find anywhere reasonably local to go a take a look at them. Is there anywhere close to Surrey / Hants I can go and see these wheels ? Plus once viewed and look like what Iam after I need to make a purchase ! ( and tyres ! ) how much will it be to deliver ?

look you can see by the pics of just the wheels they look awesome, now you've seen a pic of them on a skyline and they look awesome, THEY DO LOOK AWESOME they sell em in the dw shop, now stop pratting on about if they'll look good course they bloody will :nod:, NOW GET EM BOUGHT :rolleyes:
 
Ok Fella ! Fair enough, but to be honest they aint cheap and without being able to see them in the flesh I just wanted to see what they did look like on an R33 before I got hold of a set which the chap above has kindly done ( be them his or not ! ) Correct me if Iam wrong but isnt this what these forums are for ??
 
i know im only pulling ya pisser mate:rolleyes:, but rota grids are such an obiviously good looking wheel for any jap coupe i dont even get why you're even slightly unsure, everyones seen rays te37's on a skyline and they look awesome well rota grids look the same easy decision :nod:
 
Haha, they're my wheels on the white R33 GTR above, 18x10" Rota Grid drift, ET15 and bought from Drfitworks :D

Hi Cliff, Thanks for that ! Your car looks awsome ! and if you are up for meeting up I would really like to see them, The spokes look like they stick out a fair bit ( even with ET15 Offsets ) are curbs a problem ? or will the lip still hit first ? ( not that I go out of my way to hit curbs ! )
 
i'm coming round for a closer look at them clifford ,i'll be round when it's
dark with my jack and wheelbrace :p:D

My car goes in for some work on Tuesday and might be away for a few days but will be available at the weekend I reckon if you want a quick meet up somewhere central to us both.
The spokes look like they protrude, but they dont, kerbs are no more dangerous to me than with any alloys really I guess. Check out this picture of the wheels, new in their box, you may get a better idea.......

Cheers Buddy ! Really appreciate your comments ! So what made you go for the ET15 offset ? as Rare Rims Recommend going for ET35's, which is what Iam running at the moment on my Rears, and I reacon Winnersh is about half way for a meet ? How about this Thursday or Friday ?

My GTR uses different offsets, assuming yours is a GTST, mostly because of my wider arches.

I'll have to hold fire on the meet for now, my car went in today and might not be out till next week, although I'll keep you updated so we can get together ASAP :)
 
Ah HA ! Thats makes sense then, Yes my car is a GTS-T, No worries about the meet, I might take a road trip down to rare rims on Friday. :)
 
Still got my Mariah Carey CD playing in the car, alternating between that and Luther Vandross, so not quite sorted my style out yet Mathew :D
Get that green thingymajig on the road man, god damn it you're slow!!! :D
 
not quite there yet then cliff, i hope there's no neons or flamer kits on it:D;)

it'll be finished sometime this year :thumbs:
 
My wheels should have been he yesterday but there coming tomorrow i hope! I carn't wait to get them on. Car sat on the drive yesterday with two wheels off ready to put them on as soon as they came "How sad" im away till sunday night but if they come i will be putting them on as soon as i can get back 1am or not lol.
