S type jaguar?

I usually hate these kind of questions but I have a query. Why does no one use old s types?

They can be found in manual 2.5 or 3 litre v6s for stinking cheap and I'm struggling to see any downsides as a cheap skidder. It has to be better than an old e36 surely.
 
the 3.0 v6 is a decent engine, and can be remapped.
For the money the go for now it could be a good option
 
I'd love to see guys start to drift S-type Jags' and then throw in a bit of twinning alongside the usual suspects to boot.....though the donning of cravat and smoking jacket is mandatory of course!!

In fact wasn't it one of the new Jag's that Phil drifted the other year for a TV advert or show?
