Ey guys, im planning on doing a 5-stud conversion on my 180sx due to the wheel options available.

i know there are lots of posts/threads/articles about this already around the net, but as a starter im pretty confused which method to go & would like to ask for your opinion.

Can i do just below? (im only after having a 5-stud)

Rear:
- change 5stud hub from S14/S15
- redrill rotors
- everything else stays as is

Front:
- change 5stud hub from S14/S15
- redrill rotors
- everything else stays as is

Is this setup ok without changing any brakes & other stuff? Daily-driven only.
Advantages? Disadvantages?

Appreciate it, thanks.

Interested in this too, looks pretty straight forward after reading various guides. Except mine has z32 brakes all round, this shouldn't effect anything as the handbrake setup stays doesn't it?

You can redrill and keep the same no problem however you need S14 front lower arm ball joints also as the taper is different, but if i was you get the S14 lower arms at the same time as they are 11mm wider, and its what "NISMO" sell as an uprated up for S13

Ok thanks for that. so what i do is below?

Rear : install 5stud hub (s14) + redrill stock S13 rotors
Front: install 5stud hub (s14) + redrill stock S13 rotors + change to S14 LCA

If i change only the hub in front, why need to change the LCA? what does a taper look like?
cant i go with hub replacement only?
Sorry for the very noob question.

On the front you have to change the entire knuckle/hub assembly as the stub axle is a different diameter so just the hub wont fit.

arnt the hub adapters just billet aluminium? if so could you not just get a machine shop to make some for you

thought with the front you could just replace the hub and the lower arm bearing with the hub you fit e.g s13 u need s13 taper bearing s14 hub s14 taper bearing etccc is this correct as i am currently trying to source parts for my 97 180 aswell
