s13 engine question.

Been nosying about under the bonnet of my new toy and my mate with an s13 pointed out that im missing a Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve.

Excuse my lack of knowledge (never owned or played about with turbo cars)

But what does it do? There is a little hose that should have been attached to it hanging loose.
Also noticed a bolt plugging a hole in the intake pipe just before the eldow, assume that shudve been attached to that Regulator Valve.

Been driving it about the industrial estate and giving it some stick but it seems to be fine.

Can anyone help plese

You Don't need it

Captain, I'm thinking you mean the Hot start..... which is often by-passed

Your wellcome to look at mine if you can pop down Teeside way, or wait till Feb 7th at the track.

Sorry guys can't see that photo. It's s little valve that sits on the left strut on the same bracket as I think it's the Signal Amplifier.
I'm drifting it at teeside on the 7th :D so defo bud. Will try and take a picture if where it sits later on after the weekend

yea I just had a look on the diagram for the vacuum lines and it takes air from the inlet manifold and sends it into the fuel regulator but on my engine it has been bypassed

Yep looks like your HSS has been properly bypassed for you.

Has the carbon canister been done too?
