s13 fuel pump problem PLEASE HELP

right, iv just put a new engine in to my s13 and now the fuel pump isnt working, the fude in the fuse box under the bonnet is fine but theres no power getting to it through the plug in the back. iv put a battery to it to get it running and the engine sounds sweet as a nut, but i cant understand why the fuel pump isnt working as it was before i replaced the engine.

If anybody has any ideas on whats wrong PLEASE HELP ME
 
Might sound daft but you haven't trapped and cut a wire when you were removing/fitting the engine? It must be a wire problem if the fuse is in tact at the front and the pump works when powered externally.
