s13 & R32 gts -t diffs

recently there have been quite a few threads where diffs have been sold that can fit either 200sx's and/ or R32's...

this leads me to think that they might run the same diff?? both being manufactured at the same time afterall....

has anyone got any details on this??

apparently the R32 diff is quite good, so it wont be the same as the s13 LSD then :rolleyes:

im also assuming that these can be interchanged between these 2 cars..



any thoughts/ views??

ah, but which one are they sayin is better?? ill see if i can find out some ratios for them.. id imagine there similar ratios, as in my 200 i had the gearbox internals of an RB20 gearbox, and there very long ratios... id have thought the diff would be quite short ratiod to compensate...

so its a straight swap then aye?? this could be a good alternative to S13 owners wanting a better diff, but not the longer ratios of an S14 diff..

....and mech LSD's will fit either too....
 
I have an S14 diff atm, and the difference in having longer ratios is hardly noticeable!

If you want a cheap diff upgrade then go for an S14 one, people will probably want more for an R32 one cos its for a skyline :rolleyes: save the money and put it towards a proper diff someday ;)
 
AFAIK you can take an s13 diff off and put an R32 one on.... same as an S14 would, by changing the back plate...
i might be able to tell you soon ;)
