S13/S14/R32 etc rear coilover top mounts - help please!

So after waiting for weeks, rolling around on blown dumb suspension - coilovers turned up for my S14.

Well fuck. They dont fit.

Tried the rears first - and the top mount studs on the coilovers are way too narrow to work in the S14 body. See picture.

I assumed the dickhead sent me S13 coils instead (even after I confirmed that they were 100% S14 units before hand), because the lower mounts on the fronts had bolt holes that were too small and would need to be drilled out - no big deal there.

However, some people have told me that S13/S14 rear top mounts are the same, so that wouldn't be an issue.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? Do I have S13/S14/whateverthefuck rear coilovers?

Can somebody please measure the distance between their S13 rear top mount studs to confirm this?

S14 coilovers are way longer than S13 ones so they won't fit right anyway, regardless of the top mount bolt hole issue.
I thought they would bolt in tho so the top mounts should be the same??

Either way they're useless to you so you'd better try get your money back.

pretty sure 13 and 14 top mount bolt holes are the same and the only difference is the length. seems odd!

Any chance someone could measure their s13 top mount stud gap, so I know for sure?

Top mounts are different.

S13/R32.
S14/R33/R34.

Well, I sold the S13 coilovers and will be buying S14 ones instead.

you on 4 stud hubs? what kind of shit spec cars do you guys get over there....if your front hubs are 4 stud then they are worth decent money to homosexual people as they will fit geomaster hubs,

geomaster hubs are designed to fit s14 hubs. uk spec s14's are 5 stud only, base spec jap and USA spec cars have 4 stud hubs. so if you had an s13 and wanted to stay 4 stud but fit geomasters you would need your weird hubs.
