I brought the silvia (1991, h-reg) a couple of months ago as a summer project but I need to sell it as il be out of the country for 3 months and cant realy leaving it laying around. It came with an sr20de engine but the engine is now useless as its got a hole in the block. but the head,gearbox,etc are all in good working order. (gearbox can be used for sr20det conversion)
what needs doing:
The sills of the car need welding, I've cut away the rot and started to treat the metal for rust,etc. you could either weld them or just replace the sills up to you.
small plates need welding in the engine bay (1-2" holes) nothing major.
rear drivers side arch needs to be repaired.
also the front wings are rusty and one has a dent. Ive been told they can be repaired.
The car will come complete but i have removed the engine.gbox. These cars fetch a fair amount with a sr20det lump as many of you know so when complete it will work out to be a real bargain for someone. There is a few months mot left on the car and taxed until the end of the month.
I will upload some pics over the next few days.
