S13 to PS13 vice versa..

Now I know in Japan people used the PS13 Silvia front end as a cheaper replacement for a smashed 180sx front.

But over here in the UK...if I were to prang my PS13 front end would it not cost more to find replacement PS13 front end parts since its JDM only?

Therefore the logical alternative would be to turn to the ample supply of 180sx/200sx parts? Therefore the opposite is true here...a one-via is the cheaper alternative?

Just an thought as im paranoid if something happens to my PS13....anyone?

Heh cheers Brooksie but hopefully ill never need em. God and my car has an non-standard pearlescent paintjob...oh dear. Well heres hopin..!

Yep, it will be cheaper to replace the front with 200SX bits. I guess around £200-300 for all the parts.

Just out of interest....does anyone have a rough idea of how many onevia's there are kicking about over here?

for those of you that dont know

onevia = ps13 body, rps13 front.

Very close to none I think. Apart from 240SX coupe in Blackpool I cant think of any others.

Oh, Robbs, just to be picky:p, The 'P' denotes an SR20 engine so isnt needed when talking body shapes.:)

It will be harder and more expensive to find the Silvia bits, but it's doable - a few people seem to be hoarding bits :wack:

Finding the S13 bits will be a piece of piss, but it'll be harder to fit them to the Silvia...

Also, One-via's are not pretty IMO :D

Cheers Steve, I couldn't think of any either except Mitto's old one, which is obviously no longer a onevia... Good stuff :D

Theres also a 240sx coupe running around here so that makes 2.
I think onevia's look awesome!
