S14 ideal drift car on ebay

ooooh, thats sweeet:) just needs coilovers, diff and R33 GTR rims, so for under £3k you could have a perfect drift car :eek: (no, its not mine either! haha)
 
I thought all S14 SR's had it? thats what the lump at the front of the rocker cover is isn't it?
 
Mines a 1995 and, like all UK S14s it has VVT... :rolleyes:

Sure it may need an engine after a season or so, but then how many od the boys and girls running SRs have fitted Rocker Arm stoppers? Im gonna fit some soon to my SR - Essential if you like to rev it out ;)

When the VVT starts to go, its fine when its cold, but as it gets warmer and the oil thinner, the knock appears. It sounds like a diesel! In my experience, it also comes and goes once warm and if you rev it above idle it dissapears...

Also the car is ready for a service tappet sometimes sticks a little from cold then goes off after a bit of driving once warmed up,but can guarantee this will dissaper once serviced as it has done it before..
sounds like the oil's not getting round properly which normally means servicing's been missed and can potentially lead to all kinds of nasty shit. Blocked spray bars and potential big end probs.....

does this mean it can be sold........?

i`m kinda interested to bring it over to holland.

but the stories about the engine sounds somewhat disturbing.

does a stock s14 has a good LSD?

The car still has a valid MOT certificate so the plate could be put on retention and sold...
