s14 steering wheel boss & defi water temp sensor??

hi peeps, im needing a steering wheel boss kit to suit a 6-bolt key!s racing steering wheel for an s14a with an airbag.. do yous do a kit that bypass's the airbag sensor?? as ive been told it will send signals to the ecu and could cause problems if the light is on constantly (dont know if this is true).

and

im looking for a replacement water temp sensor for a defi guage (its a wee brass sensor with 2 cables comming out it that screws into the water hose sensor adapter kit.

any help will be great..
 
Hi,

We used to do the airbag cancellation bosses, but they're no longer available with our supplier so I'm afraid we can't get any more. However, the airbag light causes NO problems aside from the fact that the light is on, and that will fail an MOT. If you just remove the bulb, everybody's happy! :) If you need the indicator cancelling feature, then we've got a handful of HKB bosses that are supposed to do both airbag and indicators, but the airbag only works on Japanese cars. It still does the indicators and horn just fine though. If you want one, gimme a call and I can sort it out for £60.

As for the water temp sensor, exactly which gauge do you have, so I can find out the exact price? :)
 
i would probably just go for a normal boss if thats gona be ok.. or do you think i should go for an hkb one as my car is an jap import s14 kouki??
the defi is a standard black dial 60mm water temperature guage.. i need other senders for other defi's that are playin up (and fookedx cables) but will look into that and let you know what i need..

Ok, the Defi water temp sensor set is £54. :)

Hmm, the HKB one might even work with your airbag etc since it's a Japanese import. I can't guarantee on that, but I can guarantee it'll work with the horn and the indicator cancellation. :) Bear in mind the normal cheap one doesn't do the horn or indicator cancelling.

You can pay however you want, easiest thing to do since it's a one off order is to give me a call and I'll sort it out over the phone.
 
i'll have to wait for my pay to come through for the defi temp set, i will phone tomorow to get the hkb boss..

Hi Sender, I'm afraid it's just what we had left over in stock, we've nothing HKB left now except for a couple of R32 bosses. Sorry! :(
