S14 with sr/rb which is better

I'm looking at getting a s14 for drifting and will be wanting to get it up to the 400bhp mark one day ,what engine would be a better starting point for reliability, cost , power and handling of the rb is a better engine would it be better to just buy a gts as that car is originally designed to have that engine. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated
